OAK is a real commercial airport, and that's the point. BART runs from the airport to the Coliseum station in about nine minutes and the whole Bay opens from there; a rideshare puts you in downtown Oakland in fifteen; the ferry at Jack London Square crosses to San Francisco's Ferry Building in about twenty-five. You land connected, not stranded.

From the gate to the Bay
OAK is a full commercial airport, so you land connected. BART's automated airport tram reaches Coliseum station in about nine minutes, and the system fans out from there — downtown Oakland in a few stops, downtown San Francisco in roughly 25 minutes. Rideshare to downtown Oakland runs about fifteen minutes, and the San Francisco Bay Ferry crosses from Jack London Square to the Ferry Building in about 25.

Which airport does Advanced Air use for the Bay Area?
Oakland International Airport (OAK), on the east side of the Bay about ten miles south of downtown Oakland. It's the Bay's easier airport — BART-connected, quicker to clear, and better positioned for the East Bay than SFO.
