Hawthorne Municipal Airport is a small, 80-acre airport located in proximity to Los Angeles International Airport. The singular runway allows for a more intimate flying experience, free from the crowds of nearby LAX. The airport offers 24-hour operations, private VIP facilities, and convenient check-in inside the Jet Center Los Angeles lobby.
LAX/Hawthorne Shuttle: Have a flight you need to connect to at LAX? We’ve setup a free airport shuttle between Jet Center Los Angeles and LAX for flight connections. This service must be confirmed in advance while booking your reservation in the shop product area; please ensure you add your connecting flight information also. Transfers are NOT guaranteed without a reservation. Reservations are not accepted for the shuttle less than 48 hours prior to departure. Check-in is located inside the Jet Center Los Angeles lobby.
Mammoth Passengers: Check-in is located on the 1st Floor of the Advanced Air building, next to the parking lot.
Please arrive for check-in one hour prior to your scheduled departure time. All passengers and baggage must be checked in no later than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time: failure to do so may result in denied boarding. If you require extra services such as wheelchair assistance, unaccompanied minors, or are traveling with a pet please allow for additional time.

Special Mammoth Flights Note – Guests are allowed to check two (2) pieces of baggage with a combined total weight of up to fifty (50) pounds free of charge, including snow sports equipment. One boot bag and one ski/snowboard bag are treated as one piece of baggage. Excess baggage will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed. There will be a $50 charge per excess and/or overweight bag.
